October was definitely the month of fun and the month of all the sports!

I FINALLY won my first match after losing like 3 in a row, and it felt so good!

Next up was Brooks’ double!
Then Brooks had his Area Cross Country Meet. Only 10 runners from his team of 25 could qualify and he made the cut! Shep came out to support his big brother!

The Area qualifiers with their coach!

Three Musketeers!

Run, Brooksy, run!

They only take the times of the top 10 from all the schools, so he didn’t place, but he was still stoked to just be there!
Directly after the meet we rushed over to support Ellis at her choir concert! Thank goodness they both just so happened to be at the same place!

Ellis did such a good job and was surprisingly animated!

Ellis hates this part and it’s written all over her face, hahaha!

They put on such a good show! We all really enjoyed it!
6th Grade Cockrill Choir

So proud of these kiddos!

Cross Country meet at 5:30, choir concert at 6, and baseball game at 7:45! Time to cheer on Shep for his sliding triple!
Last and final step to our home renovation was the carpet…

It looks, feels, and smells so good!

One last birthday celebration with….

My favorite Wilmeth Mamas!

Daddy went to the lake with his Houston friends for a guys weekend golf trip, and I had the bright idea to take the kids to Fright Fest at six flags at 6:30pm

I think everyone else in Dallas had my bright idea too. After sitting in traffic for an hour, it took another hour to park, and was nearly 9pm before we made it inside.
Finally inside! Ellis decided it was too scary and opted not to come last minute, so I let the boys invite the Stolarski boys!

Creepy Zombies and clowns were walking all over six flags just waiting to scare you!
Lots of spooky picture props too!

I’m such a chicken! They scared me like a million times, lol
We were only there for 3 hours, but still got to ride lots of rides!

Superman take off is always my favorite!

Sheps attempt at being creepy

This clown is smiling, but I promise she was scary!

Don’t let them catch you slippin’. You have to be aware at all times, lol…
Meanwhile, the girls were having fun doing make-overs at Nancy’s!

And Adam was having a blast up at the lake with all of his buddies!

My friend, Noelle (in the black and red), got a divorce a while back and just bought a new house. She decided to throw a moomoo’s and margaritas housewarming party!

The wigs were a fun surprise when we got there!

The hostess with the mostess!

Love how silly we are and how much fun we have together!
Fall Break started out strong with a trip to the Texas State Fair!

Such a cool Horse Show we somehow stumbled upon at the right time!

James Bond
This girl standing and riding two horses in sync was seriously impressive!

This guy was nuts!

Onto the fair games, where the boys loaded up!

Plate breaking
My handsome boys!

Skyline view…
They won this sloth for sissy!

Milk bottle toss!
Cotton Candy bacon, yes please!

Now for some rides….

Hulk
Goof balls stole my phone, lol…

Haunted Castle ride….

I will never get this 6-7 trend, but it still cracks me up! These boys have no fear and were all about the scariest sling shot ride at the fair!
Shep won that!

Brooks was loading up on prizes too…

Basketball!
Skee Ball!

Balloon Pop!
Cotton candy #2

They won this giant dog for Ellis!

Brooks was on a mission for Pokémon and of course he got ‘em!

Crazy boys were on this…
Big Tex was good to us this year! Daddy got 750 tickets for us from work which equates to $750, and the 3 of us burned through that in 4 hours!

We could barely fit everything in the car on the way home!

This girl was having some anxiety and opted out of six flags and the Texas State Fair, so I took her on a special date to the mall…

We got a whole week off for Fall Break, so we spent the second half of the week at the lake. These were my copilots for the drive there…

We let the kids invite friends again!

Ellis and Meredith!

Nolan, Henry, and Brooks!

Shep couldn’t find a buddy to come, but he gets along with and plays with everyone!

Ellis, mere and shep tubing

Boys wipeout!
Cuties!

Shep being Shep….
Yep, those are his swim trunks

Skinny mini lost his drawers

They were such good sports with the sunset pics!

Tough dudes!

Sweet sunset pics ideas they came up with!

Mexican Train to end the night!

Ping Pong with Daddy!

Training for Cross Country in the Cliffs!

And they’re off…
A little fishy fishy!

Such good kids!

Boys tubing one last time for the season!
Lol, Shep…

S’mores with friends to close out an awesome Fall Break

Ellis decided she wanted to style Shep’s hair

Look at that heart throb!

A little update on this sweet girl….she unfortunately had another bad reaction to her IVIG infusion. It was after the first dose though, not delayed after the second dose like it has been, and was the worst reaction yet. We took all the precautions…extra fluids, steroids, pain meds, and nothing was helping. The bad reaction set off a wave of panic attacks that kept her from being able to return to school after the fall break. We’re working on adjusting her medications, homeopathic remedies, and switching brands for her IVIG infusions, and I have full faith that we’ll get through this flare. I don’t know how long it will take, but this girl is a fighter!

On another note, only 10 runners qualified for districts, and the 3 musketeers made the cut again!

Brooks wanted me to take this video of him before the race…
Ready, set, go…..
Run, Brooksy, run!

He did it!!!

So proud of this kid for working his little tail off to qualify for Districts. When he sets his mind to something, there is no stopping him!

He was not as enthusiastic for his “after the race” video, lol
Love these boys and their Mamas! Friends since kindergarten!

From Cross Country District Qualifier to NCS Baseball Finalist!

Collecting that bling!

Brooks’ team won first in the league regardless if they won or lost their last regular season game, soooo…..his coach FINALLY decided to put him in to pitch after he worked hard, trained, and begged all season!!!

This was Brooks’ first time ever pitching in a game, EVER, and he did awesome!!!!
That’s my boy!

Double play!

Nice out pitcher!

He pitched 2 full innings, didn’t walk anyone, didn’t hit anyone, and even got a strike out!!!!!
Went straight from pitching to catching!

Breea is the unofficial leader and planner of our little “Baseball Board” group and she takes her birthday very seriously! She loves a good celebration!

She asked everyone to take off work and planned this super fun day at this place called “World Springs”. It’s an outdoor spa with multiple small pools that have “healing water” from all over the world! It’s such a cool concept and is practically in our back yard!

I love how much we laugh when we’re together! Here’s another silly video we made to celebrate the birthday girl!
Dinner after the spa for the birthday girl!

Love my friends!

The next day Grandma, Aunt Kelly, and the Stroems drove all the way to McKinney so Levi could surprise Shep for his birthday!

I promise Shep was surprised and sooooo excited!
We went bowling at Pin Stack to celebrate the birthday boy!

Of course we had to hit up the arcade!

VR
Birthday treat for the birthday boy!

He loves his new bike!

Levi got Shep a gift all on his own!

10 candles for my big 10 year old!

happy bday shep

Sweet cousins!

Shep’s coach picked up a very last minute one day Sunday tournament, so the family got to see Shep play some ball!

strike out

Such a fun and cup filling weekend with family!

Annual neighborhood Pumpkin Carving Halloween party!

Shep’s actual birthday was on Monday!

Birthday Donuts!

My baby is double digits!

Ellis made this sweet card for Shep!

Annual Memaw and Papa Joe birthday video!
Ellis is such a fall vibe! She’s officially doing homebound schooling again for the time being, and I feel very blessed that we’re able to give her this option so her body can get the rest it needs.

Her brother loves to snuggle with her!

And bonus….she got to go with me to bring Shep lunch at school for his birthday!

Shep said he just wanted to do a fun outing with family for his birthday instead of a big party. He wasn’t expecting Daddy’s side of the family, so it was fun to surprise him with that! I still wanted to surprise him with a fun little after school play date with his friends too!

They play this new thing called “blitz ball”, which is basically wiffle ball, in the front yard all the time, so this was basically a standard Monday after school!

Picking teams!

Shep got a home run!

All of Shep’s teams mates and friends call him Shep Dog, and I absolutely love it!

happy bday

razzing eachother
backyard soccer
The middle school does fun little dress up days almost every week, hence the cowboy hat in the previous pictures. This day was “anything but a backpack day”, and Brooks decided to brink a trash can for his backpack…

Love this kiddo and his sense of humor!
The week of Halloween the band put on a concert and the students got to wear their costumes!

My creepy clown percussionist!

Brooks was literally the star of the show and was the only percussionist that got tp play all of the instruments!

Tambourine

Marimba
Loves him!

It’s hard to tell in the video, but that’s Brooks’ drum solo for “We Will Rock You”!
His buddy Nolan plays the Tuba in the band!

His buddy Tristan is in the band too!

Ellis’ new symptom this fall (seems like we gain new symptoms every fall) is an extreme fear to leave the house. Last year she was afraid to go to school, but this year she’s afraid to even leave the house. I can barely get her to take the dogs on a walk with me and pretty much have to force her to go, but I’ll take these baby steps. She’s happy as a clam at home, and for right now, that’s all that matters!

Brooks’ team took first place overall for the regular season, but came up short in end of season tournament losing 6-7 (perfect for the trend right now, lol) taking second place. They still earned that bling though!

Halloween 2025 for the Dimmick’s you have: Mario and Luigi, aliens, and creepy clowns!

The Three Musketeers and Shep had fun walking around the neighborhood!

Eek, I’m scared!

Cutest aliens I ever did see!

Ellis has definitely been isolating herself, so I’m so thankful these girls still came over to celebrate Halloween with her. I’m also thankful she made it out of the house for a bit to meet up over at Breea’s house and walk around the neighborhood for a bit!
It’s ugh Mario and Luigi!

This was the first year all 3 kids took off on their own to go trick or treating with their freinds!

Even the little boys went off on their own!

Beautiful sunset for Halloween!

Ellis even started off walking the neighborhood on her own with her friends, but started getting anxious, so I joined them at the end!

Got some videos of these super polite pre teens!

I like to go all out for the holidays!

Got this Pumpkin Ghoul for a steal the day of Halloween at 50% off while I was shopping for dog food, lol…
Halloween fell on a Friday this year, so us adults got to have some fun too!

Halloween 2025 was a success! And yes of course I tested out all the candy to make sure none of it was poisoned!
