Christmas Eve morning we started with our yearly tradition of decorating cookies for Santa!

Oreo wanted in on the fun too!

We went to the candlelight service at church in the early evening!

After church we usually order pizza and watch a Christmas movie, but we changed things up this year and went to the Stolarski’s for the Seven Fishes dinner. It was too much for them to host everyone again this year, so they just hosted us! I think I like this tradition better!

Nancy’s Uncle Stevo was visiting!

A little LCR post dinner!

After that we went home, allowed the kids to open one present, and then watched our Christmas movie in our matching jammies the elves brought us!

Santa came!!!
Shep’s big gift was a new bike

Ellis’ big gift were two hermit crabs

Brooks’ big gift was an adult sized electric scooter

Walking down those stairs to see what Santa brought is always the best feeling!
Mommy and Daddy always buy all of the practical gifts, like socks and underwear and boring clothes, lol

The best chaos! First year in a while there were absolutely no tears or meltdowns!

Trying out their gifts! All 3 asked for skateboards!

Of course they had to show off their gifts to the Stolarskis! I can’t believe I forgot to take a picture, but we spent Christmas evening with the Plums per usual! We hosted this year and Adam grilled some amazing steaks!

Adam surprised me again this year with these super cute uggs and a freaking Louis Vuitton purse! I freaking LOVE both of them!

The day after Christmas we drove to Houston and celebrated with the Hundl’s right away! Kids couldn’t wait to do the secret Santa gift exchange with their cousins!

Girls!

Big boys!

Middle Boys!

Big/Middle boy!

Little boys!

Brooks was so excited about his dumbbell tree!

Shep was even more excited abut his pro scooter! He kept asking me if I thought Memaw got it for him, lol. I lied and kept telling him I wasn’t sure? Gotta keep it exciting while they’re young!

Trying out the Shot”ski” Mike built with the liquor Conner brought back from overseas!
LCR for the kids!

Kody’s anticlimactic win!
Time for some silly adult games!
First up was the Merry Christmas tea light candle challenge…
Love that Memaw and Papa Joe wanted in on the games too!
Next up was the blindfolded bow scoop challenge…

Last was the candy cane transfer challenge!

Always a great time and lots of laughs with my sisters and family!
The next day I met up with my high school friends at Dana’s house for our annual friends Christmas Party!

Always gotta get that toe up pic!

The day after that we went to Grandma and Papaw’s house to celebrate Christmas our third and final time with the Dimmick side! I was surprised and SOOOO excited when I found out we were having Pappadeaux for lunch!

Kids definitely got their artistic and musical talents from their Daddy’s side of the family!

Lesley came up with this hilarious white elephant silly hat gift exchange instead of our usual secret Santa exchange, and it was definitely a hit! The princess crown was perfect for Brooks, lol

Viking!

Christmas turkey!

Golfers hat!

Trump!

Another golfers hat, lol (the only one that was duplicated)!

Psychedelic Squid!

Taco!

Umbrella!

Aye aye captain!

Horse Head!

First steal! Trump definitely fits Grandma better

And Christmas Tree fits Levi better!

Twinning!

The whole gang after all the steals! So much fun! Planning a dance off with the hats at Easter, so stay tuned!

Drove home for a night to drop off our Christmas gifts, grab the dogs, and repack, and then we headed up to the lake to spend a few days and New Years with the Cisneros’!

It’s crazy how pretty much everything was shut down in PK. Thank goodness Boondocks was still open, we were starving!

Kids are finally old enough to leave at home by themselves while the adults (not just the guys) enjoy some golf time!

It really is such a beautiful course!

Pickleball time!
Gosh I really hope no one ever builds on this lot. We got so lucky!

Girls were bored and wanted to earn some money, lol

Julie and I both got each other puzzles for Christmas, and I didn’t get a picture but the girls got each other the exact same stuffie too! It was so cute! I love how we’re all so much alike and get along so well!

Ellis taught herself how to crochet and has gotten REALLY good at it! She free hand crocheted this little teddy bear as a gift for Maddie!

Mexican Train in the sunshine!

Sunset NYE pics overlooking the lake were a must, duh!

I am one blessed wife to have a hubby that is such a fantastic cook! Get in my belly!

Dessert time!

Julie and David brought some “little” fireworks that weren’t supposed to be loud, since you can’t do fireworks at the lake

The people that sold them the fireworks lied, lol. Thankfully, we didn’t get caught!
We fancy! Only the good stuff for NYE!

Rang in the New Year in the best way…with fun games, good friends, lots of laughter, fancy drinks, and comfy clothes!

First year we ALL made it to midnight! 2025 is going to be a good one!
