We started September off watching Ellis’ sweet friend, Savannah, get baptized!

I love that Ellis wanted to support and be there for her friend, and that she got to witness such a special moment!
I took these cuties to watch a Taylor Swift cover band at PGA Frisco. It’s such a cool area, but man it was packed!!!

I was trying to take a video of them video’ing themselves, lol. Silly girls document and make videos and don’t post them anywhere. Wanna be influencers!
We couldn’t see or hear from our lawn seats, and I stood in line the entire concert to get food and drinks for them, but the girls still had fun!

Always negotiating for more! Concert ended early due to lightening, so I took them to get a sweet treat!

We are now in the toddler puppy phase and have had to puppy proof our entire house! Praise the Lord the potty training is going better though!

First time Brooks rode the middle school bus home and Nancy documented it for me! The bus stop isn’t anywhere near our house, so Nancy picks them up in the golf cart everyday. He gets home 20 minutes later, but he loves it, and I love not having to pick him up! He recently started riding the bus to school as well, which is even more awesome!!! Ellis and Shep ride scooters to and from school too. I’m getting very spoiled I must say!
Last school year was probably one of the toughest years of my life. I went into a pretty deep depression and completely let myself go. This year I’ve started taking care of me again, and one of the biggest ways I do that is through tennis. I played last season, but my heart wasn’t in it and I pretty much had to force myself to go. This season I’ve fallen in love with the sport. I’m still terrible, lol, but getting better everyday! It’s even afforded me the opportunity to meet “famous” people! The season opener I got to meet the “Rambling Redhead” from insta and the HGTV show “No Demo Reno” herself! She was so sweet!

Shep is playing on two teams for the first time this season, a rec and a select. He gets a lot of pitching time on his rec team and it’s helped with his confidence so much! This kid is completely obsessed and such a little baller! He’s 3rd and 4th batter on both teams and plays pretty much every position!

I LOVE watching him pitch!
As you can see, Brooks is playing on a AAA 12u team with like 15/16 kids. They were supposed to make 2 teams but ended up a few players short. He’s also not playing on the Pirates anymore because they moved to tournament play. Unfortunately, he’s not getting a lot of playing time this season, since this team already had 2 catchers. His bat is on fire though and he’s learning a lot from this AAA team! They made it to the finals in their first tournament!

Old teammates from last season!

Brooks got invited to this really cool laser tag birthday party for his buddy Nolan…

Why do they look so old?!?

I despise sleepovers, but Ellis somehow talked me into one. We still struggle with treating everyone with kindness, but goodness has she been blessed with some very forgiving friends who give her patience and grace!

He’s lucky he’s cute!

We’ve had some pretty amazing coaches through the seasons. Their dedication and commitment to growing and pouring into these young boys leave me in awe, but there’s absolutely nothing more heartwarming than seeing them kneel in prayer before the games!

That sweet sweet game ending moment of victory!
Ballfield sunsets are the best!

CHAMPIONS!

Shep’s first ring! He was sooooooo excited!

His awesome coach, Coach Dylan!

His buddy, CJ

I love that Brooks still wants to participate on the dress up days, even in middle school! It was “Dress for Success” day!

”Let your light shine” bling day!

Wilmeth Elementary night at the High school football game is always so much fun for the kids! We do football right in Texas!

Ellis is such a supportive baseball sister! She gets invested in the games and even watches them on GameChanger when she’s not there! Her sweet BFF, Meredith, just wants to hang with her, even if that means spending all day at the ball fields!

Brooks’ coach had to leave after the first game, so the boys had to step up and coach first base, lol!

Brooks is such a clutch hitter! He got the RBI in this game that knocked in the tying run!
Then he scored the winning run!
Ellis has now entered the world of boy and girl group chats. The drama and amount of messages drive me insane, but it also warms my heart when I see them standing up for each other. This kid, Oliver, called Ellis bald, and as you can see Jack took up for her! A few other friends chimed in and took up for her too! With all that Ellis has going on, I know she could easily crawl into a hole and hide. I’m just so thankful for her strong, bold, and outgoing personality and for the AMAZING support she has all around her!

She is either FaceTiming or hanging with friends 24/7!

The cute fall “acorn” treats we made in place of artificial dye cookies!

The “fit” she chose for picture day! So happy she at least let me curl her hair! Had to get a pic before it got all messed up, lol

Okay another group chat that warmed my heart and I wanted to document and keep forever was Ellis telling everyone about the “See you at the Pole” national day of prayer that I helped organize at her school! And oh my goodness her response about her arch nemesis, Serena. She DOES listen to me!!

It was an early morning at the pole and so sweet to hear their little prayers. Ellis had the best prayer prepared, but got scared when it came her turn…

In the end though, she faced her fears and prayed out loud over our school! I was so proud of her!

Brooks’ Middle School gathered at the pole too and their prayers absolutely blew me away. An eight grader in his football uniform came from his early morning practice, kneeled and opened everyone in prayer. I knew Brooks wanted to say a prayer, but I wasn’t sure if he would change his mind after seeing how many kids were there. He boldly, clearly, and loudly prayed in the end as well and I’m telling you I have NEVER been more proud as a mom!

1…2…3…JESUS! There is hope and light in this dark world!
Ellis and Shep had their annual Fun Run fundraiser and of course I volunteered!

Ellis even talked me into coming back and bringing her a sonic treat at lunch!

This kid NEVER falls asleep in the car. Those 7am arrival times for games an hour away are exhausting!

Adam and my amazing friends organized this fun night out at this super cute outdoor BBQ place with live music for my birthday!

I mean that sunset though!

All the ladies!

No clue, lol

Robyn was there and so thankful she got all of these next few pics for me!

My friend found this place and sent out the text invite, but this man called and reserved a space for us and paid for a buffet and cooler of drinks for everyone! He’s so generous and always spoils me!

Sort of matching with the amazing Robyn photographer!

Nancy brought these delicious gluten free Bundt cakes and everyone sang me happy birthday, it was so sweet!

Love her!

So glad Alissa didn’t let her kids stop her from coming to hang out!

And so glad Breea’s sister, Sunny, got to join us all the way from Seattle!

Everyone has a friend when it comes to the Stolarskis!

Anne Marie, the best friend and tennis captain there ever was!

So lucky and blessed to have so many wonderful friends in my life!

Such a fun night!

My friends bought me this AWESOME lululemon tennis backpack and I love it!

Spent my actual birthday crushing it at Burn Bootcamp!

Got lots of sweet texts and calls from friends and family!

Adam grilled some delicious steaks and sweet Brooks made me this homemade chocolate chip cookie! He looked up the recipe and made this all on his own!

Our babysitter also dropped off these delicious cookies. What 17 year old does that??? Sweetest teenager I’ve ever met in my life!

Adam’s mom and sisters gave me a gift card to the “McKinney Hat Company” and I got this adorable new straw hat!

43 is going to be a GREAT year!
