These little entrepreneurs will do whatever they can to make a few extra bucks, including setting up a driveway “shop” in Texas in July!

I think Savvy’s mom and Brooks were their only customers, lol!

Of course we had to spend their earnings after! Thank goodness for the huge sale at Claires! Ellis is always so generous and also shared her saved and chore money with her friends!

My posts are a little out of order. Before the Frio trip we went to the lake with the Plums to celebrate an early 4th of July!

Boating is tiring, lol

Played the “family friendly” version of cards against humanity. It was cute, but I think I prefer playing the original version with my sisters!

Lake days are the best days!

Took Otter and Oreo swimming in the neighbors pool!

Otter was so relaxed and wanted to be held the whole time!

Anne Marie was the dog whisperer of the week!

After the lake I had one day to do laundry and pack for the river, so I sent the kids to Nancy’s to swim!

Of course I had to join when I was finished!

After the river we got back in town and went straight to birthday parties! Apparently this is one of the guys from the YouTube group “Dude Perfect”. They are headquartered in Frisco and do their trick shots in a building right next to Ninja Nation!

We weren’t in town for most of July, but when we were of course we always had extra kids at our house!

Adults turn for a fun birthday party on Friday night!

We went all 80’s out for Nancy’s 47th birthday!

I even got Adam to participate!

On our way to rock out to an 80’s cover band!

The band was so good and we had so much fun dancing!

Birthday girl with the band!

Then it was on to the White Woods evening tennis mixer with my girls the next night!

Sunday was the End of season Swim Team party and awards night. I’m so glad Brooks decided to do swim team again!

My most favorite thing to drive up to in the evening– summer nights street wiffle ball with friends and neighbors!

Ellis and her friends decided to open up a bracelet business and needed supplies!

Silly girls with their “Stanley Dupes”!
It brings tears to my eyes when I think about how strong and resilient this beautiful child of God is right here! God uses her to teach me every single day, and I’m just so grateful she is mine! My heart bursts with pride when I see that smile. She’s smiling because after months of waiting her FREE Hairclub for Kids wig finally came in!

Her stylist, Antoinette, has been the BIGGEST blessing!

Gosh I love her!

She couldn’t wait to go show all of her friends her new wig!

I think she looks like me!

She wanted to keep it long and I love it!

After a few days at home we headed back to the lake with the Arguijo’s!

The boat was in the shop, so we had to slum it at the lake beach like old times…

I think Carolina needs a dog in her life!

We’ve definitely gotten our moneys worth with this shark slide!

Pool time!

Love my sissy!!

DimGuijo’s annual summer cousin pic!

Cousins that fight like sisters that will one day be the best of friends if Jodie and I have anything to do with it!

Littles passed out in the car on the way home from dinner, lol

Full moon kind of night

Yay, we got the boat back!! It was the day they had to leave, but we still got in a few hours of fun!

Got ‘em!
Sunrises and sunsets are the best at the lake! Love that this is my backyard!

Ellis and Adam headed back to McKinney for work and gymnastics and the boys and I stayed at the lake. Some friends of ours joined us after a couple of days– the Smith’s and the Tendorf’s!

All the kids were in love with Otter, especially this cutie! His mom, Aissa, is a photographer…and that is also why all of the next few pics are so good!

Middle School buddies!

So before Adam left to go back to McKinney he had me practice driving and docking the boat all by myself, so I could take my friends out! I cannot believe he trusted me, but I have to say, I did an awesome job and had lots of fun!

Mommas and littles turn!

Mom and kids trip is definitely happening every summer now!

I’m basically a pro!

Rolling 11 deep to dinner! If you look closely you can see Shep and Ben showing us their hiney’s in the very back, lol…

It was a super fun and successful lake trip with my mom friends!

We had one day to clean and get ready for our next round of guests! Most of the Jarmon’s, Booher’s and Fore’s came to visit, and Ellis and Adam came back up too! It was a packed house, but oh so much fun!

Pickleball Pros!

Tyler was Otter’s new best friend for the weekend!

Had to show off our sunset cliff view!

Oreo could definitely not let Otter get all of the attention!

The best of buddies all weekend!

These two were also!

Everyone went on an early morning boat ride and I stayed back with the “littles”

Jeanne and Tyler brought up their two jet skis and we took turns having a ball on them!

I’m so glad Janel finally brought the boys up and the older nephews came too! I hope they continue to want to come back every summer!

Of course we stayed an extra day to clean and chill. The boys and I were up at the lake for almost two weeks and were seriously not ready to go home. We’d spend the entire summer there if we could!

Had to get home to go back to school shopping though for meet the teacher! Adam took the boys to one store and was done in 30 minutes and I took these two girls to the mall for HOURS!

They picked silly outfits for each of the to try on and counted down before coming out of the dressing room to reveal. They were cracking me up!

I was in heaven watching their fashion shows and listening to their giggles!
I mean seriously! How cute are they!?

Snack break!

I survived hours at the mall with preteens, I should get a medal!

I’m afraid we’ve created a monster, but an adorable monster at that!

As if the shopping spree wasn’t enough, we had to get their nails done the next day too!

Adam snapped this pic of Brooks and I because he thought we looked like two nerds in our own little worlds. I get Brooks. We think and act so much alike, but he’s way more awesome than I’ll ever be!

The countdown to summer being over was on and we had to get in our traditional golf club pool day with his buddy Tucker!

And I got to hang with my sweet friends Liz and Ruth too! Whew, July was a whirlwind, but we sure made the most out of every last day!
