Texas State Fair

Our annual “skip school Texas State Fair day” did not disappoint!

The weather was perfect, the crowd was minimal, AND it just so happened to be half off on tickets day, unbeknownst to us!

First up, we checked out this cool VR car ride at the car show…

And this is why Ellis will not be getting her license until she’s 45…

Gah, I’m not ready for this!

Then, onto the carnival rides…

Next, it was back to the car show to pick up our friends for the day!

So many spinny rides 🤢. Thank goodness for friends, and everyone FINALLY being tall enough, so Mommy doesn’t have to ride these anymore!!

I loathe the carnival games, but caved at the end. Thank goodness everyone won a $1 store stuffy and it only cost me $11 in tickets!

Last ride of the day!

No better way to get rid of our extra tickets than with another funnel cake! Perfect ending to a pretty perfect (yet stupid expensive) day! Until next year, Big Tex!
