We get invited to some pretty neat birthday parties around here, and count ourselves very lucky! Brooks got to check out the brand new PGA head quarters located in Frisco (about 15 minutes from us), for his buddy Nolan’s birthday party.

They rented out a couple of bays with these awesome simulator screens. They got to “play” soccer, baseball, golf, football, and hockey!
Ellis went to a murder mystery birthday party for her good friend Maddy. Everyone was assigned a character before the party, and Ellis was Scarlet Red. Scarlet Red is the little sister of a famous actor worth millions, who was found murdered, and a wannabe Hollywood star herself…

I think she nailed the character!

Ellis’ BFF Grace was assigned Kelly Green, a renowned Hollywood reporter…

I just dropped Ellis off at the party, but Maddy’s mom sent me this pic and told me Ellis ended up being the murderer! How perfect is that, lol! I’ve never even been to a murder/mystery party— these kids are so lucky!

Shep and Max are 3 years apart, but have the same energy and are the best of buds! We got to help him celebrate his 5th birthday!

And lastly, the adults get invited to some pretty incredible parties too! Robyn’s husband Horst turned 50 years young!

They had an incredible band in their beautiful backyard, complete with a caterer and bartender!
Love these “baseball moms”!

Horst is our South African King!

Adam and I’s schedules randomly aligned the other day, and I was lucky enough to join him on the golf course while the kids were in school!

Such a stud!
It was a gorgeous day, and we definitely need to do that more often!

Here are a few random pics I wanted to save….
Adam and I at the charity classic golf tournament dinner…

Otter giving Ellis her daily morning hug before school…

Shep doing a fun science experiment in class…

Cheersing with an espresso martini mid day with my “brunch babes” (Nancy, Laura, and Breea) after hours of catching up and crying and laughing about life…

Dinner at Hat Creek after an early week night baseball game…

The boys riding bikes to school on national walk/bike to school day. Ellis was way ahead already on her electric scooter…

Halloween season is now in full swing at the Dimmick house…

We always start the Boo’ing of our friends— it’s our favorite!

Mom’s gotta have fun too!

Let’s do this…

First up was Brooks boo’ing Hunter…

We were literally about to ring the doorbell and run when out walks Joe and Grace on their way to a softball game— busted!
Second stop was Shep boo’ing Ben…

They saw us racing down the street in our car—— busted again!
Last stop was Ellis boo’ing her friend Jillian…

I still don’t think they know we boo’ed them— success!
Our first pumpkin painting party at Shep’s friends house, but all 3 were invited!

Our amazing school hosted an outdoor movie night!

Such a fun night with our school friends!

They showed the movie “Coco” to keep with the Halloween theme!

Annual porch pumpkin painting time. The kids are probably old enough to switch to carving actual pumpkins next year…

This is so easy though and way less messy!

Solar eclipse time!!!

Got this really cool pic of the moon almost covering the sun!

Daddy went to the lake with his buddy’s from Houston for the weekend, and Ellis somehow talked me into hosting a very last minute Halloween party for her and 6 of her friends…

It was going to be a simple party and then I got a little carried away, lol!
I probably had just as much fun as the girls did!

How cute and fun are these girls?!?

First up was pizza…

…then it was cookie decorating time…

…next was the costume contest…

With the most handsome judges!
Lastly, it was time to change into pj’s and load up on candy…

….to watch the movie Hocus Pocus 2!

These sweet girls had so much fun, everyone left by 10, and there was surprisingly ZERO drama!!!!!!

Shep was having fun with one of the Halloween Party favors!

Grace sadly didn’t get to come to the Halloween party because her and her mom both had Covid. Ellis asked me if we could put a care package together for them, and of course I said YES!!!

Love this girls kind heart!

Meanwhile, Adam had an awesome weekend at the lake playing golf with his Houston buddies!

Brooks and Shep couldn’t let Ellis have all the fun, so of course they got to have a baseball watching party with their friends…

Sure do love these kiddos and all of their friends 👻🎃
