Putting Green at PK, Baseball, Fun Run, Bday Dinner, Bach Party

Summer might be over but that doesn’t mean our lake fun has to end! Adam got a deal that was too good to pass up for this awesome putting green for our side yard!

It was a quick weekend trip so we didn’t have time to get the boat out of storage. We had the whole beach to ourselves though…

Otter (and Ellis) were in heaven!

These GIANT Texas centipedes are the thing of nightmares. Who knew they can also sting you?? Lake /country life ain’t no joke!

Putting is serious business

Adam hung some lights so we could have some fun at night too…

A little family friendly competition…

I love that the kids are now as much into puzzles as I am!

More pro shots of our little baller!

Back to back home runs for this stud….

…earned him the Game Ball!!!!

No days off for this kid!

Apex Obstacle Fun Run fundraiser time…

It was a hot day!

Friday night we went to the club for dinner and my friends surprised me with cupcakes for my birthday!

My friend captured this sweet pic of Shep giving me a big smooch!

Love my “brunch babes”!

And my besties!

Every year I don’t want to make a big deal on my birthday and every year my friends and family make me feel so special and loved!

Saturday was my actual birthday and this awesome chick went behind my back (with Adam) and set up a spa treatment for me!

Sweet Shep wanted to FaceTime with me to wish me a happy birthday while I was at the spa!

The spa was at the W Hotel in downtown Dallas, and I was actually there to celebrate my sweet friend, Natalie’s, bachelorette party! I couldn’t think of a more fun way to spend my birthday! Natalie’s husband suddenly passed away a few years ago and she found love again, and we are all so happy for her!

Spa in the morning and pool time (kid free) in the afternoon…yes please!

My beautiful roommates for the evening!

Time to paint the town! Natalie sure is loved!

We had the “fun” car!

Went to the hippest restaurant!

Isn’t she just the cutest!

Our entertainment during dinner…

Natalie wrote the most adorable poem for her speech…

She used to be a dancer for the Minnesota Vikings, so she’s got the moves!

Such a fun weekend with some pretty amazing friends!
