I have now reached the phase in life where Ellis is bringing me coffee in bed and wanting to cook me breakfast, and I’m TOTALLY here for it!

This sweet boy turned 3 years old on August 22 and of course we had to celebrate!

I did an “Adults Sports Camp” at the golf club with my friends Morgan and Anne Marie. We started with mimosas and tennis at 8:30, and then onto golf, then lunch, and ended with pickle ball. It was over 100 degrees outside and I about died of heat stroke, but we had an absolute blast!

So excited I hit the ball straight! Adam better watch out, lol

Trying to soak up as much of the lake house as we can before our weekends are consumed with baseball. The Plums got to join us this time!

Hemingway’s is our new favorite restaurant!

And so it begins! Our neighbor, Joe, formed an advanced rec McKinney baseball team, so Brooks will be playing on two teams yet again. His new team is called The Millenium!

Shep is playing select for the Stripes again, but he has new coaches and stayed down in his actual age bracket. One of the dads on the team is a photographer, so we get these AMAZING pics after every single game!

Back to school neighborhood moms bash! Love our community!

For months out we planned a trip to the lake house with Adam’s side of the fam for the long Labor Day weekend, but of course…baseball. Shep’s team scheduled a last minute tournament, so him and I stayed back while everyone else headed to PK. Shep and I had a day to ourselves and we chose to go to…..

Legoland!!!!

Shep’s car…

Mommy’s car…

The new 4-D movie was awesome!

Next up was the Sealife Aquarium…

I could watch the stingrays swim all day long. So mesmerizing….

I literally could’ve stayed in this magical tunnel forever

Shep finally talked me into letting him do this…

I hope my sweet baby boy never ever stops wanting to hold my hand!

Left with a fun souvenir…

And Mommy/Son project…

Sleepover in Mommy’s bed– duh!

Finished product!

Love watching my little baller do his thing!
His team came up short in their tournament, but that just meant we got to head to the lake earlier to finish out the Labor Day weekend!

We got to sneak in a little pool party fun with our buddies too…

And meanwhile, up at the lake….Brooks and Grandma were having fun working on a puzzle while Otter stood guard, lol!

Then they got in a little lake time on the boat with Aunt Kelly and Grandma…

The Stroem’s arrived on Saturday and the three lefty golfers practiced their skills!

Grandma ALWAYS gets the best smiles out of Otter, lol.

Shep and I finally arrived Sunday afternoon and this is how we felt about that…
Gotta love my cautious first born, lol…

The boys (minus Liam, who opted to stay back with Grandma this time)…

Siblings make the BEST friends!

God’s beautiful artwork!

Nothing better than playing in the rain while the suns still shining!

The cooks of the weekend…

That puzzle was a multiple day team project…

Pool time at the neighbors!

Cousin play time…

Goodbyes are never easy. Such a much needed and fun Labor Day weekend with family!

One last boat ride and our little shark finally got to join…

He was in absolute heaven!

Poor buddy got into a fight with Ellis’ braces on the tube. I swear he can’t ever catch a break.

A little wake boarding fun to close out the Labor Day weekend…
We love you PK

The Astros were playing the Rangers so of course we had to go to the game!!!!

Three back to back home runs for Altuve was so fun to watch!!!

All the snacks always…

Such a fun weeknight game, and we absolutely murdered the Rangers!

New school year new subbing gigs, and I’m still having lots of fun with it!

Especially when I get to see these cuties! Had to take this accident prone kiddo to the nurse after falling on the monkey bars at recess and getting ANOTHER goose egg…

Kick off party for the new season with his select baseball team…

We’ve really been blessed with some awesome teams!

I will leave you with how Ellis feels about going to gymnastics 3 days a week for 3 hours, lol. As tired as she is she still sucks it up and goes and I’m so proud of her!
